I couldn’t see the director until payment, and the consultant explained things kindly and in detail... I saw him later, and it turned out he actually looked a bit... older, so I was worried inside.
But compared with how he looked outwardly, his explanation was specific and professional, so I considered that a relief. It seemed like the clinic also sold several diet supplements, but there was no particular hard-selling.
On the actual surgery day, the nurses (also older people) were not especially gentle or soft-spoken. That doesn’t mean they were unkind.. I was naked on the cold bed, shivering as if I’d become butcher-shop meat (they say other clinics are all the same too), and then I fell asleep.
When I woke up, the surgery was over. Director Park Geon-chae did not suture that same day; he only placed bandages over the surgical sites and had me go home. That way, the remaining blood that comes out would soak into them. And then the next day, it had to be stitched. He said that way it’s good because a blood drain won’t fill up either.
There wasn’t much discomfort during suturing the next day, and they did it kindly and well.
The wounds healed well and don’t show, and I wore the compression garment and got through the recovery period well.
