I’ve been to consultations at 5 places up to today, and excluding one place because I didn’t like their consultation attitude, the opinions are really split. I’ll post what I’m curious about by number!
1. Should I or shouldn’t I get fat grafting to the front cheekbones? - 2 places said it would be better to do it - One place said I don’t need it. They were firm about it - One place said, if you want to do it, do it~ aesthetic standards are something you decide for yourself The hospital I excluded also recommended fat grafting, so I guess it’s 3:2.. But I went in only thinking about under-eye fat repositioning, and fat grafting was unfamiliar to me, so I looked into a lot of things. That made me have even more questions
2. Depth of fat grafting - They said they inject it under the skin, above the orbicularis oculi muscle, so into the superficial layer. According to the hospital, the fat particles are small (micro fat grafting) and they’ll only use a small amount, so there won’t be sagging - On another hospital’s YouTube, they said that if fat is under the skin, the support is weak, so they always put fat down to the periosteal layer If there are any users who’ve had cheekbone fat grafting or anyone who knows fat grafting really well, please let me know...
