Before <Before surgery> Before <Before surgery><Day 1><Day 1><Day of surgery><Day of surgery><Day 5><Day 5>At the time of my first surgery, I asked for revision surgery because of undercorrection, scarring, pinched marks, and asymmetry, but the surgeon refused, so I lived with stress for 8 years. This time, I decided to have revision surgery because my eye was twitching and I had symptoms where it would not open well.
I requested that the line become wider toward the outer side and that there be no asymmetry when my eyes are closed. The surgical methods were ptosis correction, raising the line by 1 mm, and fat removal, done under partial sedation + local anesthesia. During the surgery, they checked very meticulously to match the symmetry of the line when I was lying down and when I was sitting up! I think the surgery took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I am highly satisfied with the surgical process. Unlike the first hospital, they also prescribed medication to improve bruising and swelling / prevent scarring, and the consultant contacted me on their day off to check my progress. They told me I could use warm compresses to check for allergies and help manage the bruising. I am satisfied with the aftercare as well. My eye opens comfortably and well, and the heavy feeling is gone too! The bruising extended severely down to under my eye, but maybe because the surgery went well, unlike my first surgery, the swelling is going down quickly.
