At first, I was going to look around at several places, but I chose this plastic surgery clinic because they perform cheekbone osteotomy without metal pin fixation, so I thought it would not look obvious that I had plastic surgery when taking dental X-rays. It has now been about 2 or 3 years, and I have had no sensory abnormalities or side effects at all. Even though I am on a soccer team, everything has stayed well fixed without discomfort during physical contact or heading the ball. However, when they first asked me to bring photos of the face I wanted, I was not prepared at all, so looking back now, I think I wish they had shaved the bone down more.
