I’ve had consultations at five clinics so far, and they all say slightly different things
For reference, this is a revision surgery, and according to ㄴㅅㅎ clinic that I visited today, only the inner corner area of my left eye is slightly sunken. My skin is also on the thicker side!
I want to make an in-out crease that’s slightly higher than my current line. If epicanthoplasty/canthoplasty is possible, I want to do more too... opening the inner, outer, and lower corners to make my eyes look more open
1. ㅍ (ㄱㅈㅎ) In-out crease possible, but if I raise the line, there may be wrinkles at the inner corner of the eye, so I’ll probably need epicanthoplasty. Incision would be good, but non-incisional natural adhesion is also possible.
2. ㅍ(ㄱㅅㅇ) Don’t raise the line; keep the current line and only revise the left eye (the buried side) to make it higher. Natural adhesion. Does not recommend inner/outer canthoplasty.
3. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ In-out crease possible, inner/outer/lower canthoplasty all possible. Recommends revision surgery with ptosis correction and incision.
4. ㄴㅅㅎ(ㄱㄷㅎ) In-out crease impossible. If the line is raised, it will become semi-out. Since a natural look like the left eye suits me, match the start to mid-point to the height of the left line, but raise the end slightly. Partial incision (not natural adhesion). Canthoplasty impossible; open-looking eyes impossible... The wrinkle above the right eye is old, so it won’t disappear.
5. ㅇㅇㅇ(ㅇㅎㅈ) Keep the same line as now, but since wrinkles could form at the inner corner, recommends upper epicanthoplasty. Natural adhesion possible. Inner/outer/lower canthoplasty is also possible because there is more space than expected.
The comments about wrinkles possibly forming at the inner corner are roughly similar, but whether canthoplasty is possible and whether an in-out crease is possible are all slightly different Who is right? When they say everything is possible, are they saying it because everything really is possible and would likely be okay?
