I had the procedure with BellaGel around February 2019. I had about 250 cc inserted. My rib cage is small, and I did not want large breasts. The director recommended 250 cc for a full B-cup kind of feel, and I did not get greedy either, so I went with that. About one month after surgery, I went overseas for work, and when I briefly came back to Korea last year, I happened to receive several mass(?) texts from the plastic surgery clinic.
It turned out that safety issues had been raised regarding BellaGel, and the texts were sent because inquiries were flooding into the hospital at the time. They said they would do one examination without charging for revision surgery or examination fees. I was very worried, but personally I did not have major pain or an odd shape, so honestly, I still have not gone to the hospital yet.
I did not have particularly severe side effects or pain, and the feel is not bad even now, so I have been living without discomfort, but I am a bit anxious.
Right after my first surgery in 2019, it was hard to get up by myself after lying down, so I had to get help from my family to get up, and I think I stayed home for about 3 days. When going to the bathroom for a bowel movement,, I realized then that you unexpectedly use tiny muscles all over your body, and that pain could come to the breasts like that.. (lol) It is true that I had quite a bit of discomfort in daily life for about 1 to 2 weeks, and maybe because my upper body was under too much strain, my trapezius muscles rose up almost like Hallasan Mountain at the time lol I could not sleep on my side for 6 months. After removing the bandage, I remember wearing a compression bra(?) for almost a few months too. (The one given by the hospital.)
Now, 3 years later, the scar is only faintly visible along the inframammary fold (I did not receive separate laser treatment at the time), and I think the shape is being maintained well. I had the surgery when I was 25 in international age, and I am currently 28. People around me have also said it turned out well and that they feel tempted to get the surgery themselves.
Cosmetic surgery.. Personally, mine ended safely without any particular problems, but I think it is hard to readily recommend. I had it done at a famous large hospital near Gangnam Station. There were really so many Chinese people lol (I suppose that is true at any plastic surgery clinic in Korea.) After the surgery, I later found out that that hospital had also had several issues. If I had known, I probably could not have gone through with cosmetic surgery. Of course, since there are quite a few directors there, I also wonder if incidents are somewhat inevitable in proportion to that.
I hope everyone decides carefully.. I think it would be best to consult with several directors and personally choose someone you feel you can trust.
