I had been struggling with adult acne, so I gathered my courage and went in for Agnes. I’d heard Agnes was painful, so I went prepared, but compared with the Xcar laser, Agnes was nothing much.
With numbing cream on, Agnes just felt a little more or less like extraction, but for the Xcar laser, they say they also add CO2, and the sensation was really... so strange, and painful. Hard to describe, but it hurt.
Xcar laser is a scar treatment in the subcision category, so if you’ve squeezed a lot of pimples yourself over the years, or if you can’t leave acne alone, you likely have a lot of invisible scars, so it would be good to try it. But if you’re sensitive to pain, I absolutely do not recommend it. Really do not recommend it.
I’m usually pretty good at تحملing pain, but I cried. It really hurts like crazy. Also, after acne treatment, it’s hard to go out bare-faced. These days people are starting to talk about whether to wear masks or not, so if you’re planning to get it done, it would probably be better to do it while wearing a mask out and about.
