An InMode Addict Settles on a Clinic

Ever since InMode first became trendy, I wanted to reduce baby fat + refine my facial line, so I went all over the place by area: private clinics in Gangnam, large chain dermatology clinics, plastic surgery clinics in Apgujeong, Seoul National University Station area, and large clinics in Hongdae. It’s far from home, but I ended up settling on one Hongdae branch. The clinic itself is a factory-style place with tons of chain branches, so I went without expectations because of a first-visit event. But whether there were many people or few, they did InMode for a really long time and took care with it. Their technique is good too. You might think, since InMode itself is just a suction? laser device, how important could technique be? But after going to several places, there were more than one or two places where I truly felt like I was throwing money away. In most places, the device floated over my face and didn’t adhere well (technique issue), so they stopped halfway through the suction, and I barely bruised before it ended. Before going to the Hongdae branch, I had almost no bruising even when I had nose surgery, so I thought it was just my constitution, but here I get deep blood bruises every time, as if I had real liposuction.. It’s uncomfortable for a few days, and makeup doesn’t cover it all. But the real huge merit here is that the price is insane. Even if it’s not the first-visit event, just level 1 for the whole face doesn’t go over 100,000-150,000 won. This sounds too much like an ad, so I won’t mention the clinic name. I had a stereotype about big chain clinics, but I see them differently now. Of course, since I go often, even by my own standards I have no double chin at all. I get lip filler, Botox, and contour injections here all at once, and the lip filler is also a great find and lasts really long.. But another branch of the same clinic was really bad.
