Phew <right after surgery><day 4>I had three types of facial contouring surgery + functional rhinoplasty, and maybe because of the swelling, I still feel out of itㅠ I especially swell easily, and I think my swelling goes down slowly, but time is the medicine, right?ㅠㅠ (It took quite a long time for my double eyelid surgery swelling to go down too.)
Right after surgery, I was happy because my face looked smaller, but the pain + my face gradually swelling up made me feel like I was dying. Day 3 was the peak, but after getting a swelling injection + radiofrequency care at the clinic, it went down a lot.
It is day 5 now, and it is not as swollen as days 3-4, but it feels like the swelling is moving down to my neck. I also feel like the throbbing is pretty bad. Is this the normal process of the swelling going down?
I also have a lot of phlegm, and because my throat feels scratchy, eating is not easy eitherㅠ I took separate phlegm medicine, but that should not be a problem, right?
Not being able to wash feels so uncomfortable that I want to go to a hair salon. Would it be okay if I only cover the sideburn incision areas?
Sorry for being a question-mark machineㅠ I did not know the recovery process would be this hardㅠㅠ
I loudly insisted I could get the surgery by myself, but if my parents had not come, it really could have been a disasterㅠ Even now I am relying on my parents a lotㅠㅠ Since this was a surgery they were against, I feel very sorryㅠ If you feel like “my recovery is slower than other people’s,” please make sure to go with a guardian. It was a surgery on a totally different level from double eyelid surgeryㅠ
+ I brought a photo of Kim Go-eun from Little Women, and after surgery, the director said my chin is on the short side. So now I keep staring only at my chinㅠ I just hope the swelling goes down and the line comes out well.
