I also considered epicanthoplasty reconstruction because after epicanthoplasty, I didn’t like how one eye bent slightly like a hook when I smiled, but I ended up not doing it. I went around to several clinics for consultations, and the consultants all said the same thing: even if you get reconstruction, it doesn’t always reconstruct beautifully exactly the way you want. It just slightly closes off the front part. So unless it looks really unsightly, they usually don’t recommend it! So I hope everyone who is considering it thinks it through carefully before doing it!!
