The order was CT scan - consultant - director - consultant consultation First of all, I have it engraved in my brain that consultants are not specialists, so I don’t really like it when they try to make a diagnosis first themselves before the director says what they’re going to say But the consultant here was exactly that style? To put it nicely, she might seem like a friendly neighborhood older sister But to me, she was just rude + over-the-top + crossing the line
I was satisfied with the director’s consultation, but it didn’t really feel professional. Something about the surgical plan felt lacking in expertise too.. They were friendly + kind, just like in the YouTube videos!! The consultation room was seriously so hot that my face kept turning red, and I got all disoriented, so even when I was freezing up like, um.. uh.. they waited until I could speak. It wasn’t the kind of rushed consultation style! That part was really good. Ah, additional++ When consulting with the director, the consultant listens together from behind (personally, I hate this so much), and it wasn’t just quietly listening from behind; when looking at my CT images, she came to the seat next to me and was basically trying to get into the computer ㅋㅋㅋ
After the director’s consultation, I had another consultation with the consultant The estimate had a ridiculous number of items (7 additions) So the surgery cost came out way higher than I expected. When I mentioned this, the consultant went “Heeek-!” in surprise and asked if they weren’t all similar, kept prying about which other clinics I’d been to, and even pried about the costs ; When I roughly told her, she said, “Then it’s similar~” but that place was extremely famous, and this clinic was even more expensive than there
⭐️⭐️The reason I was most pissed off, in other words, the reason I’m writing this post^^ After hearing the price, I said, “It’s more expensive than I thought. The reviews also said it was cheap, so I came with a certain estimate in mind..” As soon as I said that, she went, “Ah~^^ You’re going to look around at more consultations anyway, right? If you think of us while going around, contact us~” and suddenly handed me her business card, and I was half-forcibly kicked out ㅋㅋㅋ
