My original eyes had buried-suture double eyelids, and my eyes themselves weren’t large, so they just looked natural, but when I opened and closed my eyes, I felt fatigue in my eyes, and as I got older, my double eyelid line kept changing, so I just thought about revision double eyelid surgery and went for a consultation. I felt convinced by the doctor’s confidence, and a few months later I scheduled it and had ptosis correction surgery. I went to the hospital after getting a recommendation through acquaintances, and since they specialize in eyes and are especially skilled in revision surgery, I felt I could trust them. During the consultation, they explain almost at the level of a lecture. I thought I was listening to a medical school lecture lol I went into it without thinking much, so I didn’t even know it was a surgery that takes a full 2 hours, and compared with buried-suture surgery, it felt like surgery on a completely different level, to the point that I was startled. But now I’m really so satisfied, and even not long after surgery, when the swelling hadn’t gone down yet, I felt that opening my eyes was comfortable. The line became thinner than before, but my eyes look clearer. I realized again that it’s not simply a difference in surgical method, but how the fine eyelid wrinkles and muscles are handled that can make such a big difference. They said that when the double eyelid line is well suited to your own eyes, forehead wrinkles form less too. They said it takes 3 months to fully settle, but even now it’s so natural that people won’t notice unless I tell them. I don’t think I’ll need to do it again, but even if I did, I’d do it here again haha
