I heard subcision helps with pitted acne scars, so I tried it. They gave an anesthetic injection for each scar and performed the procedure. I heard the sound of the tissue being separated, but because of the anesthetic injection, it didn’t hurt. I think the anesthetic injection hurt more. Right after the procedure, there was blue bruising, and the depressed scar areas were raised, but after about a week, as the bruising faded, the areas that had filled in sank back down and the scars became visible again, so in terms of satisfaction, I don’t think it was that great.
