For now, I’ve had revision surgery (currently I have a 9 mm silicone nasal bridge and ear cartilage in the nasal tip... I had really no bridge, so I was addicted to fillers), so my condition is different from then and I don’t have photos!
After only getting fillers related to my nose,
I had nasal tip cartilage tying + incisional permanent nostril reduction at ㄹㅇㅁ in October 2019. I paid 1.5 million won.
But when they explained it, they definitely talked as if they were going to put an implant in the nasal tip too, and said there would really be no scar, but that wasn’t true.
First, what disappointed me the most was this. After surgery on the first day, they didn’t put on flesh-colored tape or dressing. Then when I visited the next day, they asked why I had removed the tape. I said the hospital never put it on in the first place, and they kind of glossed over it... And because it was an external incision, there was stitching near the base of the alar wing? It seems like one of those stitches came undone... Maybe because of that, or because of a surgical issue, or because there was no dressing on the first dayㅡㅡ one nostril had a pretty pointed triangular feel, but the other nostril stayed round like its original shape, so they became uneven... I didn’t originally have asymmetry. Only my nasal bridge was a bit crooked...
My nostrils were extremely uneven, and I was left with external-incision scars too. The scars are still there now. The scar shape is whitish, as if the stitch marks remain. Seeing that it hasn’t disappeared even after 4 years, I guess I just have to live with it hahaha. The fortunate thing is that it’s not very visible, but it is very visible to my eyes ^^...
Because of this kind of surgery, I spent a huge amount of money when I had nose revision surgery last year... Since it counted as revision surgeryㅡㅡ You really have to get the first surgery done well... After revision surgery, the nostril asymmetry improved right awayㅡㅡ I think the cartilage hadn’t been tied properly...
Reason I’m posting again after 4 years: back then there wasn’t even a community like this, and 21-year-old me thought something terrible would happen if I wrote a bad review like this. And I had revision surgery somewhere else and liked it, so I just lived with it. But I started wanting nostril reduction again, searched around, found the history of my past surgery, and wrote this post haha. I don’t even know the director’s name from back then;;; I don’t know whether they’re still at ㄹㅇㅁ or what, but it was really bad. I hope they’ve improved by now...
