Before<Before>After<Day 2>I worked hard to save up money for plastic surgery, applied for an event through an app, and got 3 types of facial contouring done. It’s been two days since surgery. For reference, when I take photos from the side cheekbone angle, my face looks like it has empty space, and the middle part of my face is a bit long, so I didn’t like looking older and had the surgery while I’m still even a little young. (In the after photo, I couldn’t wash properly and look puffy, so for everyone’s eyes, I covered my eyes, nose, and mouth. Please keep that in mind.)
*Day of surgery I was really nervous until the surgery, but the director and all the staff were kind, so I felt a bit reassured. But I was still trembling.. Anyway, after I came out from surgery yesterday, more than anything else, the throat pain made it hard. And my face was swollen like crazy, so I was shocked, and after getting the pain-control injection, the pain eased a lot. The hospital gave me a cold/hot pack and a compression band, so I’m using them diligently, and they said I need to go get the stitches removed on Friday. They said same-day discharge was possible too, but I was admitted, and I came home this morning. My mom came as my guardian, and there was also a two-person room where we could sleep together, so it wasn’t bad. Oh, and there was also a private bathroom!
*Day 2 I’m still very swollen, but my condition is better than yesterday, so I’m even writing this post now, but my jaw area still feels stiff and the throat pain is the same.. Honestly, it’s cold so I don’t want to go outside, but they say swelling goes down well if you take frequent walks. So after getting discharged today and coming home, I covered my whole face with a padded jacket and hoodie and walked 5 laps around the park in front of my house! They said tomorrow is when the swelling will be the worst, so I’m scared how swollen I’ll get.. Right now I’m only eating porridge, and opening my mouth isn’t easy, but I open it to eat^^ And for brushing my teeth, I’m using mouthwash instead of brushing with a toothbrush. They told me to wear the compression band until day 5, so I’m doing it diligently lol They say time is medicine, but I wish time would pass quickly…
