My first nose surgery was about 4 years ago. They just raised it and put in ear cartilage, but the cartilage dissolved, so from the side it looked like a straight-line nose, you know? So to raise the nasal tip, I went back to the same hospital for a second surgery, and they put in donated rib cartilage. But it showed through too much, all white... And there was a foul smell from the nasal tip.
So I went for the third surgery, and now it doesn’t show through to the point of being stark white, but my nose still often gets red and does show through (not to the point where it seems like it will break through like before). So I’m just living with it...
