I always thought my nostrils and nasal alae were a bit wide, so I always wanted alar reduction Of course there was asymmetry too, but since there wasn’t really anything I could do about the asymmetry,, I kept worrying about it and felt like I would just keep having the same concern, so I was looking into a few hospitals and happened to come across one clinic! If you’re concerned about your nasal alae like I was, or if you only want to improve the alar area, try getting a consultation. They really pinpoint the exact parts you’re worried about! The consultant was also kind, and it was good because when I asked all my questions about the surgery, she answered each one well. The surgery involved three things in total: alar reduction, correction of drooping alae, and columella improvement. Honestly, it wasn’t surgery on the whole nose, but the cost was a bit high, so I flinched, but after actually having the surgery, all I can think is that I’m really glad I did it haha. The director did the surgery quickly and well, and made it look so natural, so I actually think it was reasonable and I’m satisfied~ The surgery was done under local anesthesia, and I really teared up a little while it was being done The second anesthesia shot really hurt I think the surgery took about 30 minutes, and they said it varies from person to person. I had a pretty strong headache the next day If you’re worried about your nasal alae, definitely go. They did it really naturally, and I feel like I’m living my second life haha~
