InMode/Botox Review

They say InMode is usually done at least 3 times, but the cost was a bit burdensome, so I tried just 1 session for now. I also got Botox for the lower face on the same day I had InMode. The timing was February of this year.

During InMode, it felt like suction? with a hot machine. At first, it did not hurt at all, and because something warm was being applied, it actually felt comfortable and made me feel relaxed and drowsy. But after some time passed, the suction feeling hurt a bit. Still, since I had paid for it, I thought I should endure this much. Honestly, it was not extremely painful, and while the doctor was doing InMode, they told me that if this was my first time, I would probably see a fairly good effect even from 1 session, so I was secretly looking forward to it quite a lot.

A little while after InMode, I went straight to get Botox for the lower face, and maybe because I had done InMode, they skipped the cold compress and went straight in with the injections. Wow, but I think the Botox was really the most painful. My friends had said Botox does not hurt much, but maybe because I did it right away without a compress, it hurt so, so much. Honestly, after they gave me one or two shots, I almost said I wanted to stop, but I held it in.

Right after InMode, it is a little red, but it is not that noticeable. With Botox, there are some needle scabs? but they all disappear after a day or two.

But honestly, after a few months, you have to get Botox again, and InMode also has to be done continuously. Maybe because I just did it once as a one-time thing and stopped, I am not sure about the effect.. haha

I think I would rather lose weight to shape my facial line a bit, then do massage or gua sha instead of procedures.
