During the Chuseok holiday the year before last, I think, I was usually concerned about my nasolabial folds, so while looking into lifting procedures, I ended up looking into facelifts, which seemed a bit more definite. At the time, mini facelifts were newly (?) becoming popular, so I got hooked, made a reservation, and scheduled the surgery right away. I only talked with the consultation manager, and on the day of surgery, some doctor whose name I don’t remember now (it was random) came and consulted with me, then told me it was a bit early for me to get this surgery … I had gone there after making a reservation, and I was furious and filled with regret because the manager’s words and the doctor’s opinion were different, and because I heard that on the day of surgery.
But since I had taken the time to come there anyway, I lay down on the operating table with a small hope that it would still have some effect. Maybe they sensed what I wanted, because they said they would add a few threads as a free service, but it wasn’t something I could confirm, so haha anyway. So far, I haven’t had any side effects, but I also don’t really know if there was much effect. I was on the younger side, so maybe that’s why, but this place specializes in lifting, and judging from reviews and such, it definitely seems effective for older people.
Anyway, based on that experience, I realized once again how important it is to understand whether the doctor’s opinion, the direction I want, and the direction of the surgery match. You really shouldn’t just go ahead with it blindly. Now I guess that laser lifting to improve overall skin elasticity was what suited me. (Ulthera, Shurink, InMode, Tune Face, etc.) You should absolutely never! just listen only to the manager and go for it haha. The incision scars have all disappeared.
