I had orthodontic treatment eight years ago, and my occlusion definitely improved, but I feel like my jaw got longer. Before, my face was round, but now it looks a bit long, and especially my lower jaw looks like it protrudes a lot. Still, I clench my teeth less strongly now, and I think the asymmetry on both sides has improved a bit.
