ㅋㅋㅋ I wasn’t exactly overweight, and I got the surgery at an average weight, but far from getting a jawline, my chin area collapsed, so I’m living with a triple or quadruple chin....^^
I had my chin tip and square jaw reduced, and the shape isn’t a sharp V-line, but I did have my chin length shortened a bit. I was prepared for it, but it doesn’t improve with ordinary maintenance ㅋㅋㅋ I feel like I either need to lose weight until I’m skinny or do something else.... Dieting... is hard.....
I’ve had Ultherapy, V-OLET, InMode, Oligio, LinearFirm, and fat-dissolving injections, and it’s still like that.... ha..ㅋㅋ Every time I lose weight and get treatments, the volume itself does go down... I never thought that after shaving down even my chin, I’d end up getting that many procedures...
After getting laser treatments, a boundary line appeared, but only the boundary line appeared ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It didn’t solve the issue.... Has anyone seen results for the same concern?
Personally, when it was really severe, Ultherapy had a slight effect. Among the things I got, it was the best, but it’s expensive, and because of how it works, you can’t get it often....
V-OLET might have an effect, but if you get it while you already have swelling from facial contouring, it swells up for about a month to the point that you look monstrous (I only recommend it to people who work from home or don’t have to meet anyone), and it takes a long time to settle, so I can’t tell whether I saw results or not.

For reference, it only looks like that because I took an unedited bare-face photo with a phone camera. Even with that kind of face, if I put on makeup and take a photo from a 45-degree angle or from above using a retouching app, I look pretty.... I get an Instagram face...
It’s been over 9 months since the surgery. My sensation is still weird. When I’m tired or on my period, my face swells like crazyㅋ
During the first week, because of the tube they inserted during surgery, I had wounds, spat blood, and my throat hurt so much I thought I was going to die.
For the first one or two months, I couldn’t open my mouth, and I couldn’t chew tough meat or hard vegetables. I ate meat by cutting it with scissors until it was like mince.
Until 3 months, I drooled without realizing it, and even while eating, it would dribble down, but I had no sensation so I didn’t know... I’m lucky my partner is a saint, because for the first few months after surgery, you can’t pretend in front of people that you didn’t have surgery, because of the swelling and all. To be blunt, it’s hard to even kiss for a few months; the sensation is strange.... and your mouth won’t open either.
