I had costal cartilage harvested a year ago and had revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I’m very satisfied with my nose, but the scar at the costal cartilage area is still red There’s bumpy scar tissue, and it’s red and raised like a burn from something hot. I’m not prone to keloids, my skin heals better than most people’s, and I don’t scar easily… First of all, I’m satisfied with my nose and there are no issues. But I feel like I’ll never be able to wear a bikini again in my life? I used to like crop tops, but because I have a scar on my side, I get so self-conscious when wearing short tops and can’t wear them I went to a dermatologist, but they said dermatology procedures have limitations and that I’d probably need to have it done at a plastic surgery clinic (with something like a skin graft)
