It’s been two months since I had alar reduction, and I really think I did well getting the surgery.. My nostrils were really big, and whenever I took photos, all I could see was my nose, but after reducing them, I don’t even worry about my nostrils, and I think the director reduced them nicely. A flashy, obviously operated-looking nose wouldn’t suit my face, so I only had a natural alar reduction, and I like it even more than I expected. The scar doesn’t bother me much either, and they’re also taking care of the aftercare separately. The stitches were removed after just 3 days, so I went to work right after the surgery and didn’t feel burdened. Originally, even from the front, all you could see were my nostrils, but now there’s no feeling of the nostrils showing, and my friends asked if I also had the nasal bridge done Since the alar base got smaller, maybe it has the effect of making the nasal bridge look slightly higher. I’m glad this one thing got rid of the flat-looking appearance. All sensation in the alar area is intact, and there’s no issue with flaring my nose or breathing, and I don’t think there’s any particular difference from before. A lot of people say alar reduction has no effect, but I saw the effect properly, so I’m extremely satisfied.
