Before before before after after after It has been 3 months since I had hump nose surgery :) It was okay when I was young, but as I gradually grew up, the hump on my nose developed more noticeably and slowly became a complex for me. So my self-esteem dropped, and I lost a lot of confidence in my side profile, so after a long time thinking about it, I decided to have surgery! I had consultations at a total of 3 clinics in Gangnam and Sinsa, and I thought, ‘Let’s have the final consultation at Ovely Plastic Surgery and then decide.’ When I had that last consultation, just as I had seen and heard in reviews, Director Kim Da-alm was very meticulous and kind during the consultation. During the consultation, before I even asked about the things I was curious or worried about, he explained them first and gave me a detailed consultation, so I strongly felt, ‘If it’s Director Kim Da-alm, I can trust him and leave it to him,’ and compared with the clinics I had consulted at before, it felt more comfortable? Like it would suit me well. The consultation manager was also kind and explained the things I was curious about well! So I thought about it for about a day, then booked the surgery the next day and went ahead with it.
After surgery, rather than pain, I felt groggy and heavy, and you live with cotton packing in your nose for a day. From when I got home until before removing the cotton packing, it was really hard. Rather than hurting, I couldn’t breathe properly and had to breathe only through my mouth, so my throat hurt too, and I had to sleep sitting up.. I think those things were uncomfortable and difficult. After removing the cotton packing, it was relatively okay!
After one week, they remove the splint and stitches, and until then, since it was summer and I couldn’t wash, oil built up on my face, and the swelling was severe, so I kept feeling anxious and had to overcome that..? Other than that, I don’t think there was much else. Other people said their ears hurt a lot, but I was okay. Even after removing the splint, unlike other people, I had quite a bit of osteotomy, so I had a lot of swelling and bruising, and my nose was so swollen that I wondered, is this right..? But as I saw the swelling gradually go down and the bruising fade, I think I became satisfied. Really, until the one-month mark, as I was seeing the major swelling go down, I kept looking in the mirror like crazy haha
Now that three months have passed, even my friends don’t really notice, and if I don’t say anything, they don’t know. It was done very naturally, so I’m really satisfied! There is still some swelling left at the nasal tip, but there is no nasal congestion now, and I’m very comfortable and living confidently haha
For those thinking about non-implant surgery, I definitely recommend consulting with Director Kim Da-alm!
