My eyelids are thin, so I have multiple creases above my eyes. I decided to have surgery to fix them into double eyelids. I visited three clinics.
1. ㅁㅌ (Gangnam) Single-doctor clinic. He said he had worked at another hospital before opening his own clinic. He recommended partial incision, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty because of my Mongolian folds. He said that if I don’t do epicanthoplasty, my eyes will swallow up the double-eyelid line. He seemed professional, and it didn’t feel like he was recommending too much. There was a consultation fee of 10,000 won.
2. ㅇㅇㅌ (Apgujeong) Felt like a large hospital. I saw Director Ham, but he seemed busy and a bit hectic. He explained things very well. He recommended incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and fat repositioning because I don’t have fat above my eyes. I have asymmetrical eyes, but he judged after looking at only one eye, so I felt a little uneasy. Consultation fee was 10,000 won.
3. ㄹㅎ (Sinsa) They said the well-known director specializes in revision surgery. I saw a younger director, and he thought a lot about my case. He recommended incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and fat grafting above the eyes. Fat grafting feels a bit scary, so I’m thinking about it.
That’s my review after visiting clinics so far. Everyone says different things, so I don’t know where I should do it. I’d appreciate it if everyone could think it through with me and give me advice.
