For reference, my nose has a pretty severe hump and is on the small and low side I told them I wanted my eyes to look glamorous and my nose to look as natural as possible 1. ㅂㄴㅂㄱ It was my first time hearing about this clinic, but when I went, an entire building was the clinic building and it was quite big. I was told to look at the clinic atmosphere when choosing a clinic, but when I went, it felt really chaotic. I don’t know if it was because there were a lot of people, but even though there were many consultants, it somehow didn’t feel systematic?? And what was really scary was that all the consultants’ faces looked exactly the same ㄷㄷ It gave me chills a little
After waiting a long time, I had a consultation with female director ㅂㅇㅈ, and she was quite kind. I had both my eyes and nose consultation with one person, and they only took photos, not a CT. And they said my nose would need customized silicone. She pressed on my nose and said it seemed like I barely had any septal cartilage She said they would probably use ear cartilage and septal cartilage for the nasal tip, and if that wasn’t enough, they could even use donated costal cartilage.. For my wide nostrils, she said they would do something like alar tying??
I also consulted about my eyes, and they said I didn’t need canthoplasty and only needed double eyelids. For the eyes, they didn’t seem to push unnecessary procedures
2. ㄷㅇㅇ This clinic also occupied an entire building and was huge. I saw a lot of foreigners too, and there were even interpreters. There were really many consultation rooms lined up in a row. It felt much more systematic than ㅂㄴㅂㄱ, and the consultants were prettier too..
I hadn’t researched in detail before going I got clinic recommendations, so for my nose I consulted with Director ㄱㅎㄱ, and for my eyes with Director ㅊㅈㅎ. I consulted about the nose first, and he said he would use silicone for the bridge, and that customized silicone wasn’t necessary because he could carve the silicone himself. After looking at the CT, he said my septal cartilage was sufficient and that my nose could be raised with only ear cartilage and septal cartilage. As for the wide nostrils, he said they would probably narrow automatically once the nose was raised. And regarding my blunt nasal tip, he said he could do muscle resection or nasal tip tying. At the time I just thought, I see, but when I looked up reviews, it seemed too unnatural for someone like me who wants a natural look because the nasal tip becomes pointed..
For my eyes, I consulted with Director ㅊㅈㅎ, the head director for eyes, but because I hadn’t decided what line I wanted, it felt like it ended vaguely.. He also only mentioned epicanthoplasty for canthoplasty, and said that even if he did it, he would only do it slightly. And because I had used double eyelid tape for a long time, he recommended an incisional method I had only been wearing double eyelid tape on one side, and he said if I did non-incisional surgery, that side would have weak strength and would probably loosen quickly
3. ㅍㄹㅁㅇ This was the clinic I wanted to visit the most!! Among the three, the clinic was the smallest, and there were quite a lot of people. Even though there were many people, it didn’t feel unsystematic! But they said I had to pay an extra 10,000 won consultation fee to consult with the head director.. so I got a CT and consulted with Director ㄷㅅㅂ. At first he recommended using silicone, but when I said I wanted a natural look, he said it was possible without silicone too. He said he could shave down only the unevenness from the hump, lay dermis to raise the height slightly, and then use autologous costal cartilage and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. Unlike the directors so far, he said I didn’t have to use silicone, so that felt a bit new I also consulted with the same director about my eyes, and he said either non-incisional or incisional was fine and it was my choice, but only said that if I did non-incisional, there was a high chance it would loosen. He also said I didn’t need canthoplasty, but if I wanted it, he would only do a very slight epicanthoplasty
Overall: The more consultations you go to, the better. Check the director’s style in advance and go after choosing a specific director. I haven’t had surgery, but ㅂㄴㅂㄱ seems a little risky. Since what they said was different from other clinics, I feel like they might insert donated costal cartilage while claiming it was necessary even if it wasn’t. If you want a natural look, ask them to make the nasal tip round.
