It’s been one month since I had alar base reduction. My nose still doesn’t hurt at all, and the scar is a little visible, but not enough to really bother me. At first glance, it doesn’t look like my nose has gotten that much smaller, but they had told me in advance before surgery that the effect wouldn’t be dramatic. Compared with photos, I can see that it looks much more reduced in person, so personally I’m very satisfied.
Now, if I wear makeup, the scar doesn’t show at all. These days, other than a slight tight feeling when I smile, I’m living comfortably without any particular discomfort. A little while ago, I went to see the director for a follow-up check, and they examined everything carefully and told me I had recovered well. They were so kind, which I liked lol They reduced my alar size just the right amount without overdoing it, and the asymmetry has improved a lot too~
