Before<before>After<after>I started wearing makeup from week 5, you know? I thought it might not be good to wear makeup when it hadn't even healed properly yet. But my skin is the kind that heals a bit slowly, and when I first put on makeup at week 5, even though the surgical scars were covered, they were so visible to my eyesㅜ The healing on both sides was uneven, the scars were uneven too, they seemed too deep, and I wondered if they would ever go awayㅜㅜ The redness in my eyes still hadn't fully gone down either. Even when I smiled, it looked unnatural at week 5!ㅜ But as more time passed and I reached week 9, both the healing and scars are definitely still uneven, and one scar is still visible to my eyes even with makeup on. (My friends say that unless they look closely, they don't really notice it!) And when I had my follow-up consultation after surgery, they said the scar probably wouldn't disappear, so I don't know if it will go awayㅜㅜ Still, when I wear makeup, the scar and redness are definitely not very noticeable, and when I look at photos from before, my eyes are so clearly widened that I keep getting surprised, so my satisfaction is really high! Also, they told me that sometimes dissolvable sutures can protrude outside the skin, and that happened to me often. They would protrude outside the skin and also inside the mucous membrane. But whenever that happened, if I contacted them through KakaoTalk, they immediately made an appointment for me, and I went to the clinic and had them removed right away! And even if you feel like you're all healed, really be careful with actions that make blood rush to your head or blowing your nose hard. The eye area still isn't healed, so blood vessels around the eye burst..? They also said to think of it as the skin healing period lasting as long as 6 months to 1 year? and that I should calmly watch it heal, so now that I can do all my daily activities, I'm just keeping an eye on it! I started this knowing that lateral canthoplasty is a surgery that takes relatively? longer to recover from compared with other surgeries, so at first I had the surgery half excited and half worried. Since my skin heals a bit slowly, even if recovery is delayed, I'm waiting with peace of mind! But it definitely seems like a surgery with high satisfaction.. I invested in it by scraping together my own money, and it really was worth doing..
