Both times I had the non-incisional buried suture method. For the first surgery, both sides came undone around year 6-7, and it’s been over 5 years since my revision, but since the beginning of the year one side had been on the verge of coming loose, and after I got forehead Botox last month, that one side almost completely came undone.
I hurriedly booked consultations and visited four places, but somehow I’m even more conflicted ㅠㅠㅠ
Since it’s a third revision, I expected an incisional method and went for consultations, but three places recommended natural adhesion, and one of those said to just stitch the side that came undone.
Only one place said I need incision together with ptosis correction, so what’s right? ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
I’m torn because the place that mentioned incision said I also need ptosis correction, and for the others, since this is a third revision, I’m wondering if it’s really okay to do natural adhesion again ㅋㅋㅋ The hospitals that mentioned natural adhesion said my eyes are definitely suitable for natural adhesion and there’s no need to do incision, and that we should just make the fixation stronger..
Should I go to a few more places? ㅠㅠ Ah, after shopping around, I’m even more confused ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Should I just try natural adhesion one more time without the risks, or should I go for incision with ptosis correction??
