Afterward, I visited the clinic to have the armpit scars removed, but that director had moved to another clinic, and they said there would be a fee. Since there had also been issues with teardrop implants, instead of paying just to have the scars removed, I decided to switch to smooth implants and have the scar removal done at the same time, so I had revision surgery
During the revision consultation, I talked about whether they could improve the denting-like phenomenon toward the cleavage line when using my arms, and the animation deformity where the implants ride upward. They spoke as if it would improve, but far from improving, it actually got worse.
When I brought this up after surgery, they said that because smooth implants are soft, it inevitably stands out more. Both the first and second directors said it was an issue with my muscles, but if that was the case, I feel like during the revision they should have recommended placement above the muscle instead of dual-plane surgery and gone into surgery that way. (Even if I bend slightly over the sink and only wash my hands, you can see denting in the cleavage area)
The armpit scar got worse, so I asked again after more than a year, but the consultant kept saying it was not severe and that it would get better with time.
Even though more than 4 years had passed after the first surgery, the redness of the scar remained the same, and even more than a year after the revision, the result was the same. So it is really disappointing that a simple consultation coordinator, not a specialist, keeps making a diagnosis
I asked several times for the scar photos to be sent to the director, but they never contacted me lol In the end, I visited the clinic and had scar removal again, but even after suture removal, the stitches sutured inside the flesh popped up above the skin, and even now, a year later, I still feel armpit pain. The result was a total disaster
If possible, I recommend getting surgery at a clinic where communication with the clinic is good and postoperative wound care is available.
