After my first surgery, I was living very satisfied with it, but after about 10 years, one side completely came undone and the other side also became almost like an inner double eyelid, so I went around for consultations to get revision surgery. For my first surgery, I had natural adhesion + epicanthoplasty. I wanted to make my eyes look more open with an in-out line (not too natural, moderately glamorous and moderately natural lol), so I also wanted upper and lateral canthoplasty, and I looked into doing under-eye fat repositioning too. I narrowed it down to several hospitals said to be good at revision surgery, but scheduling consultations was not easy at all..ㅠㅠ So I first went only to places where the schedule worked.
Hospital name: ㅍㄹㅁㅇ Director: ㅈㅇㅈ Consultation fee: 10,000 won Consultation result: Incision + ptosis correction + under-eye fat repositioning, total 6 million won ->First of all, the director gave a clean, good consultation. I said I wanted upper and lateral canthoplasty, but he said not to do upper canthoplasty because I already have some scarring from the previous epicanthoplasty and it has already been opened as much as it can be, and he said I do not need lateral canthoplasty either. (He very firmly said I did not need to do it, so from the perspective of someone who was debating it, I actually liked that lol.) He also said natural adhesion is possible, but since I want the line to be clearly visible and my eyelids are a bit stretched, to improve that he recommended an incision and removing a little bit of eyelid skin. The surgery cost was 3.5 million for incision + ptosis correction and 2.5 million for under-eye fat repositioning, totaling 6 million, and they said if I made a same-day reservation it would go down to 5.5 million or so, but it was much more expensive than I expected, so I passedㅠ And the consultant was just... just..... exactly like, this is the price, and since he is the representative director there is no discount, so it is this much. With the director, it was more like he looked at what I had talked about with the consultant and said, this can be done and this cannot. The line will come out like this. That kind of level? Still, among the places I went to, he held the line the most times and made it easiest for me to see. (At other hospitals, it almost felt like only the doctor himself was looking at the line? They did hold the line and show me, but it was hard to see how the line was being formed or what kind of feel it had from that, whereas here they held it in a way that let me see the feel.) But when I get eye surgery, I have areas I want and areas I want improved, right? So I wanted to hear an expert opinion about those things (whether I should or should not do it, whether it would be better if I did it, or not, etc.), but here it felt like the director tends to do as much as possible according to what the patient wants. For lateral canthoplasty too, he tried holding it and said I could do it if I wanted, but I wondered if I was being too greedy, so I said I would think about it and left it out of the estimate. When I asked what it would be like if I did upper canthoplasty too, he just said it can be done and held the line... He did not really give an opinion like it would be okay if I did it or no, not really. He only told me whether what I wanted was structurally? surgically possible or not, and it felt like, do everything you want~ so that was a bit disappointingㅠㅠ But the line they held for me and the photos I saw in reviews here were closest to the eyes I want, so I am really, really tornㅠㅠ But the hospital atmosphere was not exactly luxurious..ㅠㅠ (you know what I mean... not just the interior, but the overall atmosphere of the hospital) And because it is so inexpensive, I am debating itㅠㅠ In this community, the reviews seem pretty divided too, while on the other app ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, the reviews were all goodㅠㅠ

It was the only place that carefully checked things like what my skin tissue quality is like, what my eyeball structure is like, and so on, and they measured the double-eyelid height with a ruler while doing it. Here too, they did not recommend either upper or lateral canthoplasty. In particular, they explained why they did not recommend upper and lateral canthoplasty, so it made me able to accept it like, ah, I see~ lol. However, the way they held the line was that normally they hold it continuously with a toothpick-like line-holding tool or something so you can see the eyes, right? But here they put that toothpick-like tool on the line? So since they told me to look at the line while the tool was still touching my eye, I could not really tellㅠ I went here because it is also famous for revision surgery, but honestly, the review photos were not really my styleㅠㅠ It looked like they make the line too natural and thinㅠㅠ Actually, when I saw reviews in this community, there were a few saying it became like an inner double eyelid or it was so natural you could not even tell they had it doneㅠ But on the other hand, I also thought it would be better to come out naturally than to be botchedㅠㅠ Oh, and here, director ㅇㅅㄱ apparently does not do under-eye fat repositioning; so they said they would tell me one week before surgery which director would do the under-eye fat repositioning;; That bothers me a bit tooㅠㅠ
But the reviews in this community and the other app ㄱㄴㅇㄴ were a bit differentㅠㅠ For any hospital, ㄱㄴㅇㄴ mostly has reviews saying it is so good, while compared with ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, this community has quite a few bad reviews tooㅠㅠ For now, I placed deposits at ㄷㄹㅅ and ㅌㅇㅅ, but I am thinking maybe I should go to two or three more places too. I did make reservations thoughㅠㅠ I do not knowㅠㅠ All the hospitals I went to said my eyes are the type that would come out well with surgery, and that it would be straightforward because I only need double eyelids without doing this and that, but I am still scared it might failㅠㅠ Has anyone had surgery at any of the hospitals above?
