I'll write a review of ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery with the before-and-after non-incisional method.
The reason I got surgery was that originally, I liked my eyes, so I had no intention of doing them. Originally, I was thinking about my nose + cheekbone reduction. When I went to the plastic surgery clinic and first had a consultation with the consultant, she said my nose seemed fine and recommended that instead of the nose, how about doing non-incisional surgery on my eyes.
I was taken aback then. My eyes were uneven, with an inner double eyelid on only one side, but I liked them, and people around me also said having a double eyelid looked pretty and handsome, so I had no intention of doing my eyes. But when the consultant recommended it, I was surprised.
Then I looked at the consultant's face, and unlike what you might expect from a plastic surgery consultant, she looked like she had some age and experience. It was even a really huge large-scale hospital, so I figured there must be a reason for everything she said, and decided to do my eyes instead of my nose.
Originally, I only had an inner double eyelid on the right side, so rather than asking the director for a very detailed design, I asked him to make it the same as the right side.
As for the surgical result, it seems to have come out exactly as the director drew before surgery. Since I did it non-incisionally without epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty, the left and right shapes seem to have come out a bit different from each other. (I personally like this because it looks natural, but if you're sensitive about that, be careful when getting surgery.)
Now that 3 months have passed, when I look in the mirror or at photos, my eyes look clearer, so I do think I did well. But because the line is thick, whenever it swells a little, it sometimes looks obvious that I had plastic surgery, so every day my thoughts go back and forth about whether I did it for no reason. They say swelling can continue to go down and it can become more natural even up to 1 or 2 years, so I'm believing that and waiting ㅠㅠ
