I did want double eyelid surgery, but I wanted my eyes to look more defined without a major change in my image. When taking photos or opening my eyes normally, I can open them clearly without using my forehead muscles, so I really like it. Not long after surgery, the area where I had the upper epicanthoplasty kept swelling red and then going down repeatedly, and there were some areas that looked red, but I tried not to touch it as much as possible. Now, the swelling near the inner corners of my eyes is almost gone. These days, I even forget that I had double eyelid surgery. People around me also tell me a lot that the surgery turned out very natural. The biggest advantage is that my eyes look clear even with a bare face~! And as a bonus, my eyes look defined in photos too, which I really like. My eye shape has settled beautifully, and these days I’m living day to day feeling very satisfied.
