I wanted to get a third revision rhinoplasty, so I had consultations at two places in total, this Monday and today.
Originally, I was going to get a third revision eyelid surgery while resting after leaving my job, but I got ambitious and decided to get consultations for my nose too.
For reference, my nose has a hump and is long. First surgery: silicone + ear cartilage Second surgery: silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage Right now it is not exactly a side effect, but there is slight silicone show-through, and I have rhinitis and a deviated septum (uncomfortable, but bearable). Instead, because of the ear cartilage and septal cartilage, my nasal tip drooped, so my already long nose became long again ㅠ I want to redo it because of this.
1. Gangnam Station ㄱㄴ (Director ㅊㄱㅇ) I knew before going because reviews said ㄱㄴ was a bit expensive. It is definitely expensive because it is a third revision. When I said that if I do it this time, I want autologous costal cartilage, they said okay and gave me a consultation based on what I wanted. Hump correction, silicone replacement, and for the nasal tip, autologous costal cartilage/ear cartilage/septal cartilage. It was roughly about that. The director gave a good consultation. When I asked about functional rhinoplasty too, they said they can do it, but whether it can be applied can only be finally known through the insurance company after doing the nose.
2. Gangnam Station ㄴㅇㄷ (Director ㅇㅂㅈ) I did not particularly expect much, but the consultation felt like it lasted 30 minutes. They told me everything about the direction I wanted to go in. They said my surgery itself was not wrong, but that if the nasal tip had originally been done well with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, the tip would not have drooped, and they said it was unfortunate. They said the effect would be good. They did have rather strong opinions, but they explained well what I wanted, and seemed full of confidence. Also, what I liked was that the consultant showed me the surgery CCTV situation, and they said the director does not force surgery and that every time I come for follow-up, I will see the director, so I liked that. But since it is a third revision, it is expensive. More expensive than ㄱㄴ. They said the basic revision surgery cost is 4.5 million won haha. If it were only this price, I would do it haha
I went after seeing an app, but they said there is no discount for writing a review. I also had a consultation for third revision eyelid surgery, and most places said I needed ptosis correction, but they said I did not need ptosis correction. They said if I do eyes and nose together, they would discount the eye surgery to half price. (They said they used to do functional rhinoplasty, but even if they do it these days, you cannot get reimbursed by the insurance company, so for various reasons they do not do it. But since it is definitely a third revision, it is so expensive ㅠ Still, the director said they talk people out of surgery when it is something they do not need, but that I would have a good effect and that I have a good nose. They gave such a good consultation that I want to do it ㅠ It is just because of the money,,
