Motiva inframammary incision Left: 335cc / Right: 315cc
I had surgery last September, and when I went for my mid-term follow-up, I felt like the inframammary folds didn’t match. When I asked the hospital where I had the surgery, they said it was before contracture had set in and told me to wear the upper band for about another month. If it still didn’t come down, they said I’d probably need revision surgery.
I was scared, so I looked into another hospital, and they said it wasn’t contracture but that the shape had settled incorrectly, and that they could redo it during revision surgery..
Could it be contracture? If it is contracture, I have to get aftercare within 1 year.. but I don’t want to have revision surgery at the hospital that messed up my first surgeryㅠㅠ But not doing it feels risky.. If it’s not contracture, I also feel like saving money again and looking for a revision surgery hospital.. (ugh, what a waste of money)
What do you think? And in cases like this, what is usually the better thing to do?
For reference, my nipple positions were originally a little different.
