I agonized a million times over whether to use the money I’d saved to go on a trip or get nose surgery. Honestly, I’ve only been to consultations so far, so I’m still wavering back and forth. For now, I’ll write up reviews of the places I consulted.
1. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ I wanted to go there, so I booked it first. The director seemed confident about the surgery, and said he doesn’t strongly recommend procedures that won’t have much effect. It wasn’t a vague consultation; it was clear and straightforward. A little blunt, in a good way. He explained well by drawing on a pad, and since I like a glamorous nose, I liked that he recommended that kind of look too. The manager was kind. They have CCTV, and they said they can show it if you request it in advance. 2. ㅋㄹㅁ First of all, I liked the reviews. Went there second. The manager is really kind and nice. I could ask questions comfortably throughout the consultation with the director, and we had good back-and-forth. But there was nothing that really pulled me in.. It felt like they could do everything I wanted, though it didn’t feel like they were pushing too much either. (I wrote notes on a business card, but I have no idea where that card is now sorry)
3. ㅋㅂㅈ I got recommended this place here in the community and went there third. If using an implant, they said to raise it by 3 mm. They said they’d remove fat at the tip of the nostrils, and because the nostrils are pinched, they’d remove fat, lift the bridge area slightly, and lift the tip slightly too. The septum is bent to the right. The septum is a bit small, but if it’s insufficient, they’ll use ear cartilage and fascia. The director explains things well and is kind. The manager also answers everything I ask well, though a bit mechanically. They have CCTV. For aftercare, they do swelling laser treatment when you come in. For revision, they only charge the anesthesia fee, which they said is around 300,000 to 500,000 KRW. The price is in the late 4 million KRW range, but if you get reimbursed by insurance, it works out well; they said about 70% (though it may vary by insurer). It’s the quietest place, so the wait is the shortest, while the consultation itself was the longest. Consultation fee: 10,000 KRW
