I want to write down this exhausting, difficult process in diary form, so I’ll focus on my feelings and write it out once.. My face shape had always been something I worried about since my teens.. Honestly, there wasn’t anything particularly sharp about my eyes, nose, or mouth, but by my own standards it was more of a subjective complex..? My friends didn’t really get it, but I was super bothered by it You know what I mean, everyone? Anyway! The day of judgment, dun dun,, I finally did it... I really worked hard, me.. My surgery was scheduled for 2 p.m., so I was told to come to the hospital by 1 p.m. Since I was coming up to Seoul from Busan, I booked a hotel for a whole week and came up I really am something.. As soon as I got to the hospital, I checked in and put all the things I thought I’d need in the hospital room in advance. I’m extremely J, so I feel at ease when I prepare everything ahead of time.. I had my final design consultation with Dr. Yoo, showing photos and stubbornly insisting on my requests.. Please keep the angles for me!! Keep the face small and short, please!! (I brought photos of Wonyoung/Jennie) I emphasized all that and said please take good care of me, then I went off to get ready for surgery in earnest. I changed clothes, said bye-bye to my mom, and went into the operating room. They checked a few things before surgery (whether I’d fasted well / how I was feeling / what surgery I was having, etc.), and then the anesthesiologist came in and calmed my wildly pounding heart Then they said, please take a deep, slow breath..... and blackout General anesthesia really does end the moment you lie down, wow.. I had no idea... that waking up from general anesthesia would be this painful..... They put on an oxygen mask and said to take deep breaths ~ otherwise you might feel dizzy and nauseous when moving ~ so I kept doing huuuh, hwaa, shhh... But I’d been so tense the day before that I only slept for 2 hours? So I had no strength at all and was sooo sleepy.. For about 10 seconds I was thinking maybe I should just die for a moment... like seriously, I’m dying,.... I want to feel better... Sorry mom, I love you... Then I barely got moved to the hospital room My voice barely came out and I was so tired that I could only greet my mom briefly, say I’m going to sleep a bit, and then toss and turn Because of the swelling, contouring patients have to sleep sitting up, so honestly it didn’t even feel like I slept and it was uncomfortable I brought a neck pillow and a seat cushion, but if anyone reading this is going to have surgery, definitely bring them.. They’re essential, seriously. But maybe because I also had lipo, the neck pillow honestly hurt a bit The pain from lipo, even if it only brushed against something, was chilling.. More painful than bone-shaving pain... lipo>>>>lip swelling>>>lower jaw pain, that kind of feeling. When I saw my face, there was one huge octopus Like if you bit it once, juice would just burst out-.. And I was shivering so badly they wrapped a cold pack around me, but I took it off right away.. I was shaking so much I just couldn’t handle it. The nurse said I was trembling too much, so she brought me two blankets. The electric heating pad was blasting too Since it was a single room, it was so comfortable I was all wrapped up in blankets when Dr. Yoo came by to check the surgical progress. He said everything went really well and not to worry, and I almost cried I kind of whined that it hurts more than I expected Of course I thanked him.. Did you all know you can only drink water 4 hours after surgery..? Nothing is more painful than that I kept trying to sleep on purpose. There was nosebleed, blood clots moving around in my mouth, total chaos and all that jazz.. The throat pain is exactly like the sore throat you get when you catch COVID, as people say. Actually, more than the pain, I was so dizzy and nauseous that I had a bit of a headache.. Around 11:30, the night-shift nurse finally brought me 2 New Care drinks and 2 waters. I drank water like crazy, and about an hour later she said to drink the New Care too, so I gulped that down as well. I must have been a total glass fish with an appetite like mine.. She helped me go to the bathroom in between too, and really took such careful care of me, but the downside was that I couldn’t sleep deeply.. After that I watched YouTube, slept a bit, kept drinking water, and around 7 a.m. I went to get the drainage tube removed. Having the drain removed was seriously creepy and something I never want to do again.. How should I put it, it felt like something tentacle-like had been embedded in my face and was being forcibly pulled out..? And while doing that, they pressed on my face super hard, and at that moment I hated the nurse But in the middle of all that, I had no energy to glare at anyone because I’d given up on everything.. please remember that.. After 8 a.m., I went to get a shampoo service, had my hair dried too, got a CT scan, then came back to the hospital room and listened carefully to the nurse’s one-on-one explanation of aftercare and management. Finally I said goodbye to Dr. Yoo I think I was discharged around 10, when my mom came and we left together The pain kept going Why did nobody tell me lipo hurts this much...? Why is that...? Since tomorrow is when the swelling will peak, I’ll come back to write again as things progress I just want to write by myself.. I hope the surgery turns out well soon so I can say things like Dr. Yoo, my Yoo dad, my Yoo dad I’ve watched too much YouTube, so I feel an insane sense of inner closeness.....? Gargling and taking medicine is so hard Everyone, take note.. When gargling with Hexamedine and taking pills, loosen the band and then do it... Your lips get unbelievably puffy..? Seriously, is this from At Ami Ama? Anyway, my mouth won’t open, so paper cups are essential too! You don’t really need stuff like sauce containers, paper cups are enough ><
I’ll be back!!!@ Right now I can’t sleep, so I’m doing cold compresses. I really worked hard I’m the best
