This is such a long post that I feel like no one will read it except people considering clinic consultations.. If anyone has had surgery at ㅈㅇㅈ or ㅇㅇㅂ, I would be really grateful if you could share your experience..ㅠㅠ
1. ㅇㅇㅂ (ㅔㅣ)
1) Size of the clinic: It was a very large building and seemed to use two floors. The inside was very spacious. 2) Number of people waiting: There were quite a lot. It seemed like 10 to 20 people.
3) Consultation satisfaction: 3/5
I booked a consultation with the most famous director, ㅂㅇㅎ, and went there, but the director looked extremely busy from the start. So it felt like the consultant handled 90-95% of the consultation and the director handled about 5-10%. Consultant consultation 20-30 minutes, waiting time for the director 20-30 minutes, director consultation about 5 minutes, then back to the consultant for questions about procedures, price, etc. for 10-20 minutes. You could say the 3 points for consultation satisfaction were almost entirely filled by the consultant.
4) Recommended procedures: epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, lowering canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty They recommended this much, saying it was needed for the eyes to become horizontally longer. Maybe the director was very busy and tired, but they had very little energy and I did not get the feeling that they were kind. It was kind of like, since I am busy, ask the consultant your questions. They did set a line for me.. but they tried once on the left and once or twice on the right, and the line looked a bit strange. When I said the left and right felt too different, they said it was different because my right and left eyes are asymmetrical. They just said it like that. And they did not try setting it again.
2. ㅈㅇㅈ (ㅔㅣ)
1) Size of the clinic: The building is small, but it seemed like they use the whole building. 2) Number of people waiting: Maybe because I went after the ㅇㅇㅂ consultation, there were no people waiting. (17:30)
3) Consultation satisfaction: 4.5/5
ㅇㅇㅂ was a 4 p.m. consultation and ㅈㅇㅈ was a 5:30 p.m. consultation, so maybe it was because the time slots were different.. There were no people waiting. So the only waiting time at first was 5 minutes. Even that was while filling things out, so I would say there was almost no waiting. After waiting, the director and consultant took turns explaining things. The difference from ㅇㅇㅂ was that when the director explained, the consultant watched together from the side lol. It was a bit embarrassing, but I got the sense that they worked hard. You could say the director consultation was 30-40% / consultant consultation 60-70%.
4) Recommended procedures: epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction First of all, the director consultation is definitely better here. If I had not gone knowing the reputation of director ㅂㅇㅎ at ㅇㅇㅂ, the way they responded would have been bewildering. They kept setting the line until I was convinced, and the feel was definitely very different from the line set at ㅇㅇㅂ. I liked that they explained in detail why my eyes currently look dull, including my skin type, how much the eyes are recessed under the bone structure, and the fat layer. Here they did not recommend lateral canthoplasty or lowering canthoplasty, so I asked first why they did not recommend lateral-lowering canthoplasty. They said it works well if the eyes protrude, but I am the opposite type, so it would not have much effect. The disappointing part is that here they did not mention my eye asymmetry. Thinking about it, the eye where they kept setting the line was also only one eye. I want to go back and get another consultation, but it is so far that I cannot bring myself to do itㅠㅠ I went ahead and made a reservation here too. From what I hear, ㅈㅇㅈ also seems to have a longer A/S period and better post-op care.
The reason I am conflicted when the consultation results were this different:
First, ㅇㅇㅂ had really many people, and I cannot ignore its fame.. The director was very different from the image I had in mind, but I also cannot shake the thought that, conversely, someone who is good at pleasing customers and persuasive might have weaker skills.
ㅈㅇㅈ was really kind, the consultation was detailed, and communication with the director was good, which I liked, but it is hard to find reviews anywhere other than the ㄱㄴㅇㄴ app. Even in this community, there were not many photo reviews of ㅈㅇㅈ. There were only a few comments saying they did not like it, without photos, so deciding is even harder..
There was exactly one case for director ㅅㅇㅅ, and from posts here they do seem famous, but compared with ㅇㅇㅂ there are far too few reviews;;
