Medial epicanthoplasty restoration & medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction & revision medial epicanthoplasty

Before <before surgery> After <3 months after> After medial epicanthoplasty 8 years ago, I had excessive lacrimal caruncle exposure, a hollow in the under-eye fullness, and even deformation of the double eyelid line, which made me look tired and even older.. I regretted it terribly every time I looked in the mirror, but while repeatedly giving birth and raising children, life was so hectic that I gave up and lived with it.

Then, as my children grew and I had some time to spare, I wanted to regain my appearance and started looking into clinics. For several months, I researched clinics specializing in restoration and looked through so many reviews, but there was nowhere quite like Mate.

Choosing the clinic was easy. But because I was afraid of surgery after the failed medial epicanthoplasty, I asked so many questions that it was probably annoying, and each time the staff kindly answered. And I still remember when I first met Director Kim Geun-sik, he said, “I’ll make you look pretty ^^” That one sentence completely erased my fear and increased my trust.

During the surgery, he showed me a mirror from time to time and kept letting me check. At first, I said I wanted the lacrimal caruncle to be completely invisible, but the director emphasized natural restoration, so I trusted him and had a subtle restoration.

After the surgery ended and I looked in the mirror in the recovery room, I even liked my very swollen face, you know?? I was happy because even the multiple overlapping double eyelids, which had been my biggest stress, improved. And I really thought I did the right thing by listening to the director and choosing subtle restoration. If he had closed it more, just as he said, I would have looked like a frog..

I’m so satisfied with the result that the time I spent worrying feels like a waste. And I hope people preparing for medial epicanthoplasty think about it one more time.. When I was young, I did medial epicanthoplasty simply thinking that if my eyes got bigger, I would become prettier, but I think the most important thing is harmony with the face.

After surgery, I’m living a completely new life. I really hated looking in the mirror and taking photos, but now I’ve regained my confidence and come to like my face. I sincerely thank the staff who always made me feel comfortable, and Director Kim Geun-sik, who carefully looked after me even after surgery and helped me regain my appearance.
