Today I’m finally going to get the buried sutures from my partial-incision surgery removed. I’m going to the hospital where I originally had the surgery, but the director who operated on me has left the hospital; so I’m scheduled to have it done by another director (free of charge).
When I read reviews about suture removal, they said they make a very tiny incision, use local anesthesia, and the surgery time isn’t long, so I thought of it as relatively simple. But they’ve booked 1 hour and 30 minutes for the surgery, it’s under sedation anesthesia, and they said the swelling could be as bad as when I first had surgery..
I also have no way of knowing whether this director has done many suture removals. Would it be better to just pay and get it done somewhere elseㅠㅠ?
The other hospital is ㄱㄴㅅㅇ, and they told me the surgery time is short, about 15 minutes, with local anesthesia. The cost is 1.2 million won.
Whether I do it or not, the surgery is scheduled in two hours, so I have to go to the hospital for now ㅠㅠ What should I do
