Consultation with the head director I’d heard the clinic was on the 7th floor, but I didn’t know it would be this big. It felt a bit bigger than mid-sized, like a semi-large clinic..? haha
The inside of the building was clean, and you have to move around by elevator for the consultation
Counselor (1 min: just relayed what I wanted) - Director (30 min) - Counselor (8 min) I told the head director I wanted a thin in-out line + full canthoplasty, and for the photo I showed a thin semi-out line (@DAXBIN)
Director’s consultation details 1. Measured my eye size and outer eye-corner angle with a ruler and wrote notes 2. Held lines for me: an inline, a slightly thicker in-out line, and a thin semi-out line. I liked them all, but when I said the 2nd and 3rd looked good, we decided on either in-out or semi-out 3. Showed how much the epicanthoplasty would open 4. Based on the angle measured earlier, showed how much the lateral/lower canthoplasty should lower the outer corner Counselor 5. Scheduled the date, told me the price, I asked about aftercare, and bye-bye 6. Took photos and went home
Post-op clinic visits: 2-3 times, stitch removal at week 1, then once or twice at 1-2 months to check progress
Whether an anesthesiology specialist is on site: X. They said for incisional double eyelid surgery in particular, they wake you up more often during the procedure; for lateral/lower canthoplasty they’ll also sit me up to check and keep waking me up, and the director said the medication he uses does not necessarily require an anesthesiology specialist
A/S: up to 1 year (in case the canthoplasty closes back up or comes undone), swelling laser treatment when stitches are removed
Patients handled per day: For nose, maximum 3 cases; for eyes, it depends on the time, but I didn’t really understand
Conclusion: So far I’ve been to ㄱㄴ / ㄱㄹㅇㅅㅇㅇㅇ, but this place was the most thorough (they explained while considering things like average eye size and angles). They looked closely at the photo I showed, held the lines for me, and the consultation was long and detailed, so for now I’ve decided on this place! Planning to go to one more consultation haha
