I had a consultation with Director Yoo Hyun-seok at Apgujeong Icon Plastic Surgery! Maybe because it’s a private clinic, the hospital was on the smaller side, and I think the wait time was about 15 minutes. When I went, I saw quite a few people coming out after finishing surgery. And the hospital was a bit hot lol
I said I wanted to keep the same line I usually make with double eyelid tape, but when I consulted with the consultant, she also recommended ptosis correction. But when I consulted with the director, he said there was no need for ptosis correction. He said buried suture double eyelid surgery would probably be enough, and he made a line that I really liked. Unlike other hospitals, there was no rushed atmosphere, and he answered every question I asked well, so among all the hospitals I’ve gone around to so far, I’m leaning toward this one the most.
However, maybe because of the director’s experience, the price was more expensive than I expected. Triple buried suture was 1.65 million won, and regular buried suture was 1.1 million won. If I do it, I’ll probably do the regular buried suture method haha I have one more place left to visit for consultations, so I’ll compare it with that place, and if that one isn’t good, I think I’ll have surgery here.
+After coming back from the hospital, I looked at reviews of Icon in a community, and they were very..! bad, so I was shocked... When I went today, the consultant was okay too (she did recommend an unnecessary surgery, but the director said I didn’t need it, so I’m just letting it pass), and the director was kind as well. I wonder if the consultant changed, or I don’t know what the reason is, but I didn’t feel like they were just roughly looking things over.
