It’s been quite a while (1 year) since my surgery! Please read my story about my 3 facial contouring procedures, even just for a moment lol!
My cheekbones were the main culprit that made people say my impression looked strong.. lol; Especially my side cheekbones protruded a lot ㅠ I looked older than my age;;; And people around me often told me that my impression looked strong ㅠ
On top of that, when I had a blank expression, people meeting me for the first time would misunderstand and think I seemed to be in a bad mood; ㅠ But when I had the consultation... maybe I had been too fixated only on my side cheekbones... they took proper photos and also took things like a CT scan, and when we looked at the structure itself.... my jawbone itself was also... on the fairly large side haha;; So in the end, what does that mean....? Overall, my face was... big, I guess ㅠ? lol Thinking about it... I had been getting square jaw Botox regularly.... I thought it was a muscle issue... but the bone also played a part hahaha
I had a consultation at a hospital that gets mentioned quite a lot for facial contouring, and while looking at the photos and CT images, the director explained things in an easy-to-understand way. For me, the thing I considered most important when choosing a hospital was how much I felt drawn to the doctor during the consultation! That mattered to me haha I felt I could trust them enough, so I had the surgery hehe
I had seen so many comments saying facial contouring takes a long time to recover from... and that it’s the biggest surgery... But when I think about it.. there’s no surgery that isn’t risky;;
I figured that if I spent a safe year focusing on recovery, it would be okay haha The director who performed my surgery also had decent reviews and such, so I trusted them and went for it
During the past period, the swelling went down slowly when it was slow, quickly when it was quick~ and the sensory parts also came and went as I recovered~ At first, during the first few months after surgery, there was quite a bit of residual swelling, so the effect was so subtle that I wondered if I had even had contouring done, but once it all went down~~ I could see the effect~!
