First of all, I had functional nose surgery and cosmetic nose surgery together. Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, and I also had osteotomy! They said they would use ear cartilage too if my septal cartilage was small, but seeing that my ear is fine, I don’t think they used it. Oh, and they also used donated costal cartilage.
When I entered the operating room for surgery, what I felt was that the operating room looked like a space from a sci-fi movie lol. After the surgery, I was lying in the recovery room, and I thought I hadn’t had surgery. It really didn’t hurt at all. Then on the way home, I fell asleep regardless of my will.
Everyone, as soon as you get home, make sure!!! to turn on a humidifier. I forgot and didn’t turn it on, and my throat hurt so muchㅠㅠ It was really hard even on the day of surgery, but the next day was even more painful.
1. I could only sleep 2-4 hours 2. Since I couldn’t breathe well while eating, I got a headache 3. My head kept hurting
My head hurt so much that for a moment I wondered if I had had head surgery. So I think I just kept sleeping.
After only sleeping, it became today, day 2. As soon as I woke up, I changed the gauze, ate, took my medication, and now I’m sitting. The pain seems better than yesterday. I’m planning to wash my hair tomorrow...
What I felt on day 2 was that maybe I had thought of nose surgery too lightly. The surgery itself doesn’t hurt, but after surgery is so painful!!! I’m going to the hospital tomorrow to have the cotton packing removed, and I’ll leave another review on my way home~
