Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Reviews after visiting 3 clinics (ㄴㄴ, ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ, ㄷㅇㅇ)

First of all, I think I agonized over it for about 20 years before my first surgery. I had severe rhinitis, hated my bulbous nose, and as I got older it seemed to look even heavier.. Then I finally felt like I had to do it now, so I went around for consultations. ㄴㄴ was a place I had been lurking around and watching for a while, and the director’s consultation was very detailed and kind. They showed me with photos how it might turn out, so I felt somewhat reassured. But doing autologous costal cartilage for a first surgery felt a bit burdensome.

And I found ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ while reading a blog, and the consultation there was also thorough and everything was good. They suggested proceeding with donated rib cartilage, so I thought I should do it there, but since it’s not exactly a famous place, I did feel a bit worried. The blog also seemed like it might be run through an agency rather than directly by the doctor.. Then an acquaintance told me to try consulting at a place that does rhinitis surgery together through collaboration, and that place was ㄷㅇㅇ. Since it’s such a large hospital, I thought in some ways the system might be well organized and they might make the line nicely, and they did a CT scan right away too..

So since I was planning to get treatment for rhinitis anyway, I thought I’d just do it here. But here they told me that for a first surgery, I should just use septal cartilage.. I had said I didn’t want anything dramatic. And they said that to make it come out pretty, I should put silicone in the nasal bridge, but at the end I said I didn’t want to. I was too scared of side effects..

But somehow, honestly… it felt like a factory. So what kept making me anxious was that I hoped they would consider my nose and face shape a bit and do the angle and surgery well.. I’m on day 6 now and I really don’t know whether it turned out well or not. Honestly, more than the nose shape, it feels like the harmony of my face has been disrupted. The flesh under my nose also seems to have been pulled upward, so my philtrum looks about 1.5 times longer.. (I have a slightly protruding mouth) For now, I haven’t had the splint removed yet, and I’m depressed and anxious, so I’m reading this community, but it said to raise my level, so I’m writing a lot ㅜㅜ I’m sad. I went after expecting so much and worrying so much, so please, I hope it gets pretty once the swelling goes downㅜㅜ

----- I had my splint removed today… and it turned out my nose had just looked really lifted because of the tape and splint..ㅜㅜ Phew, so it’s much better than yesterday. The nurse who disinfected it was also really, really kind, and explained everything step by step.. Ha, I was so touched that I felt sorry for worrying about the hospital so muchㅠ Once things settle down and the swelling goes down, I’ll try writing a pretty review!!! Everyone who commented, I truly hope you’re all blessed. Thank you
