ㄸㅋ Plastic Surgery / Director ㄱㅎㅅ
Actually, I’ve never had plastic surgery before, and maybe it was because the director is so famous that I went in with really high expectations..? Maybe because my consultation was in the afternoon, the director looked a little tired. Maybe that’s why the consultation ended in less than 5 minutes..
I originally used to wear double eyelid tape (in a semi-out line). As soon as the director came in, he asked if I had photos of the eyes I wanted, and when I showed him photos with double eyelid tape on, he immediately marked the line for me. He marked a total of 2 lines, and said, “Double eyelid tape and double eyelid surgery are different, so it may look more intense. I recommend lowering the line a little. And if you want the line made by the tape, you need an upper epicanthoplasty,” (to prevent overlapping folds at the inner corner of the eye), so I was a bit torn. Because I really had zero intention of getting any canthoplasty ㅠ
Since the director has many years of experience, I’m sure he can catch what needs to be done as soon as he sees someone’s eyes..! But it didn’t really seem like he was open to receiving questions..? and I did feel like things were being moved along quickly. I was flustered because the consultation ended so fast. The things I needed to ask suddenly disappeared from my mind, so I think you need to go in fully alert.
+I asked if I could get under-eye fat repositioning too, but he said it wasn’t that urgent and that it seemed okay to do it when I’m older, so he didn’t recommend it.
Double eyelid surgery (natural adhesion) is 1.5 million won, or 1 million won if the review event is applied. Upper epicanthoplasty is 800,000 won, or 400,000 won with the event applied. There was almost a 1 million won difference depending on whether or not you do the review event. Phew.
The consultant and front desk staff are kind. The hospital facilities are also clean and nice.
But I wasn’t completely drawn to it, so I think I need to visit more places and think about it more.
