Ulthera 500 shots + chin-tip V-line Botox + square jaw Botox + skin Botox (sedation anesthesia event)
Other than having square jaw Botox twice, this was my first procedure ever. They also recommended Rejuran + Lily injection, but I couldn’t do those because of budget issuesㅜㅜ I heard InMode causes bruising, and I didn’t want to go to work with a bruised face (I also didn’t tell my company I got Ulthera), so I chose Ulthera.
I went to the same hospital my friend went to while preparing for her wedding, and honestly, before doing this, I wasn’t interested in surgeries or procedures, so I went without looking much into it! I’m really sensitive to pain, and when I heard they had a sedation anesthesia event, I booked right away.
I had heard that if you don’t have much facial fat, Ulthera can actually cause cheek hollowing or make you look older, but I do have some fat on my face, and I also already have cheek hollows. I told the doctor about the cheek hollowing, and they said they would pay attention to that area and avoid treating that part.
Since I was sedated, of course I didn’t feel pain, but when they did the sedation anesthesia, they put in too much medication to remove phlegm from my throat, so my throat hurt for almost 2 weeks like I had a really bad coldㅜㅜ
It’s been 4 months since I had it done, and from around 2 months in, I heard quite a few people say my face somehow looked different. I couldn’t really tell when I looked at myself, but I guess there was definitely an effect. I think I’ll go again next year.
