I had uneven eyes, monolids, very sleepy-looking eyes, and severe ptosis, and I was gradually feeling eye fatigue and my vision was getting much worse.
I had never thought about plastic surgery at all (and had zero basic knowledge about it), but one day I suddenly got hooked on the idea. I spent half a day looking through blogs, made a reservation, went for a consultation, booked a date right away, and had non-incisional ptosis correction surgery.
It was an eye-specialty clinic in Apgujeong, and it seemed somewhat known for revision surgeries. From the beginning, I wanted to have no double eyelid, but I found out that this was impossible with non-incisional ptosis correction, so I asked them to make it thin, as natural as possible, like I had not had anything done! Looking back now, that was an impossible request.
And of course, that result did not happen. To correct my severe ptosis, the double eyelid was fixed deeply (when my eyes are fully open, it does look thin), and maybe because they pulled it up as much as possible and tied it with the non-incisional method, the mucous membrane was everted. From then on, I started searching like crazy for double-eyelid surgery mucosal eversion and eyelashes turning up..
Even after a month, it had not improved at all, so I was on the verge of losing my mind from stress. The doctor said this can normally happen, so I should wait and see, and explained that the time it takes to come down differs depending on each person's skin tension. (They also said it might not come down.)
I tried pulling my eyelashes, reducing swelling, and all sorts of things, but I am not sure whether any of it worked.
It has now been 1 year, and the conclusion is that it did not come down. It may have come down very slightly, but I think I have just adapted to my eyes.
