I had the surgery at this clinic when I was 19, right after the college entrance exam, at a clinic people around me recommended, without really being able to look into it properly because I was young. First of all, they said it was a clinic specializing in revision double eyelid surgery, so I think I trusted them a lot. At first, I definitely wanted to do it by incisional method, but both the consultant and the doctor said non-incisional suture fixation would be enough and that I was still young, so it would be fine to do it that way, so I went ahead with that.. They were very meticulous during the surgery, and in the middle of the surgery they told me to open my eyes and adjusted the line in detail. But the problem was, when I came out after the surgery, the consultant said it could come undone in my late 20s and that I might have to do it again. For a moment I was so dumbfounded, and back then I was too young to argue,, Now I do understand that non-incisional suture fixation can come undone depending on skin/tissue characteristics, but I was so young and they said that right after the surgery,,, But whether it was foresight or not, it did end up coming undone, and after living my life hard, I’m finally planning to have revision surgery next year.
If anyone here is going to a consultation at this clinic, I think it would be good to communicate exactly what you want to the director!
