I'm in my 40s, with enlarged pores, redness, and lots of fine lines, so I decided to try Thermage. Although it was expensive for a third-generation Thermage treatment, I made an appointment because it's a solo-practice clinic with experience, and I wanted to be treated by a dermatologist. During the consultation, they listed several procedures like Thermage and skin boosters, and the rest of the detailed explanations were all handled by the clinic manager. There wasn't much to say... During the Thermage procedure itself, it actually wasn't that painful, and they kept applying gel next to me, so the pain was tolerable. The doctor also tried to help me relax.. Since it was an expensive procedure, I had high expectations.. but after getting it done, oddly enough, I broke out a lot. It hasn't even been a month yet, so I'm planning to wait a bit longer. For me, it wasn't particularly a dramatic procedure. I guess I should go get skin boosters instead.. The clinic itself is systematic and not factory-like, but the price is definitely a bit high.
